Held on May 2, IU Indianapolis hosted its 12th annual Jagapalooza celebration. Student celebrated the end of the spring semester with carnival rides, games, free merch, food stands and more. The event is planned and run by the Student Activities Programming Board (SAPB) and supported by the Division of Student Affairs (DSA).
On Feb. 13, students against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) organized and peacefully protested at Monument Circle in an effort to voice concerns about the increase of alleged ICE sightings and recently passed legislation.
On Jan. 19th, Butler University (BU) held their 11th annual MLK Love Walk in remembrance of Martin Luther King Jr. The Black Student Union BSU at BU has supported Indiana University Indianapolis’ BSU after the cancellation of the MLK Jr. Dinner that was held at the university for 57 years.
