On Sept. 25, the IUPUI women’s soccer team concluded their regular season with a 2-0 win over their in-state rival, Purdue Fort Wayne. The win secured the Jags the two seed and a first-round bye in the Horizon League tournament. After announcing their plan for a split in August 2022, Indiana University president Pamela Whitten and Purdue University president Mung Chiang made the breakup official on Wednesday, with a special signing ceremony in the Campus Center Atrium.
