On Saturday, May 27, 2013, more than 200,000 packed the streets of downtown Indianapolis to watch the 500 Festival Parade that preluded the Indianapolis 500.


As a part of the procession, drivers waved to fans and signed autographs, marching bands performed, and many floats passed by the cheering spectators. In addition, the IUPUI cheerleaders also participated in the parade.
