“Destiny was the reason we were able to get the win today, we deserve the MVP trophy with that three-point play,” Williams said.“I also give Cleveland State credit for getting back into the game. The team made me look good.”

This is the second time the Jaguars will be going to the March Madness tournament. The first time was during the 2019-2020 season and  they were not able to play in the tournament due to COVID-19.

“ This is the moment I’ve been waiting for since 2020,” Williams said.“We didn’t get to play then but we are able to play now.” Williams said.

The Jaguars will find out who they play first in the tournament on Sunday, March 13 during selection Sunday.
