Knox performs at Indy’s HI-FI with opener maryjo

On Feb. 8 in Downtown Indianapolis, the neon lights of the HI-FI’s marquee lit up the faces of excited fans as they stood in line mingling with each other.   Fans lined the block outside the venue in uncharacteristically warm February weather to see Ohio native, up-and-coming indie artist Knox, and opener maryjo, on his “I’m So Good at Being Alone” tour.

Review: "Barbie" is Heartfelt, Hilarious, Deeply Empathetic, and Pink

 Greta Gerwig’s “Barbie” made history as the first solo female-directed film to generate $1 billion at the box office. Throughout her career, one common thread has tied her work together. Sometimes critical, but always empathetic, they are stories about women and girls in all of their capacities finding their way in the world. Heartfelt, hilarious and pink, “Barbie” is no exception.

Review: Taylor Swift's "Midnights"

Returning to her pop sound with long-time collaborator Jack Antonoff, Taylor Swift released her 10th studio album, “Midnights”, on Oct. 21, 2022. “Midnights” is a culmination of some of the best parts of Swift and Antonoff’s projects over the years. After two re-recorded albums and nine previous studio albums, “Midnights” marks Swift’s most successful era yet. Sixteen years into her career, Swift has more than earned the right to pen “Ask me why so many fade, but I’m still here.”

Midterm Election: What You Need to Know

With the 2022 midterm election just over a month away, voters across the country are making plans to vote on Nov. 8. This will be the first time many college students cast a ballot. They face a unique set of challenges, but luckily there are many resources on IUPUI’s campus dedicated to making voting more accessible to students.
