Halloween: Two Years Post the Start of a Global Pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused a number of changes, including the original essence of national holidays. Halloween, as most people know it, first began as the Celtic festival of Samhain. During the festival, bonfires were lit, and townspeople wore costumes to deter ghosts. Today, Halloween is heavily celebrated in the United States. However, effects from the pandemic have caused a change in the holidays regularity.
